This SATB motet, with a text draw from the Wisdom literature often used in the Catholic tradition for Our Lady (in this case, Sirach or Ecclesiasticus 24), is dedicated to the Latin Mass Society of England & Wales and was premiered by Matthew Schellhorn on an LMS Pilgrimage. Written in a verse-and-refrain style, the piece can fill the space it needs to fill, and can be terminated after any refrain.

Ego mater pulchrae dilectionis, et timoris, et agnitionis, et sanctae spei. In me gratia omnia viae et veritatis: in me omnis spes vitae et virtutis. Transite ad me, omnes qui concupiscitis me, et a generationibus meis implemini. Spiritus enim meus super mel dulcis, et haereditas mea super mel et favum. Memoria mea in generatione saeculorum. Amen.

Sirach 24:24–27

***
[I am the mother of fair love, and of fear, and of knowledge, and of holy hope. In me is all grace of the way and of the truth, in me is all hope of life and of virtue. Come over to me, all ye that desire me, and be filled with my fruits. For my spirit is sweet above honey, and my inheritance above honey and the honeycomb.]
